So it seems that everyone and their mother has a blog these days. You know, I used to have one back in high school that I maintained through college - except back then it was called an online diary. You might remember LiveJournal, well, this was on Diaryland. I don't know why I ever acceded to starting one of those pieces... but I think it had something to do with peer pressure. Some friends of mine had them and I liked designing it myself through HTML. I got pretty good with CSS and placing background images and keeping it clean. I actually enjoyed the design aspects more than writing the actual diary.
Although it made for good use when I wanted to vent about a girlfriend or friends at the time.
Also got me into trouble when said venting was then read by said girlfriend or friends.
A tip - if you're going to badmouth people or openly vent, you might not want to share the address of said blog and or journal with them. I assume most in the blogging community have come to this conclusion already. And either accepted the risks or don't really care.
I'm probably going to adopt a theme for this space... maybe a motivator to keep reading books and post my thoughts on them. I've been reading Seven Pillars of Wisdom for a while. It's kind of a toilet book. It's getting done... slowly. I'll update about it later.
